This one felt like it had so much going on! This book saw so many of the “boxes checked off” and completed.
We got to see this series connected to the Divine Dungeon series. We get see so many of the events durning the fourth and fifth books of DD through Artorian’s point of view. But at the same time, we get to see other events happening across the world. Which I am VERY glad it isn’t just all the same. Artorian doesn’t spend much time stuck in the exact same events of DD.
We see him continuing to roam, cause headaches for those who dare to use their power in whatever form to step on the “little guys.” We get some epic combat with Artorian taking things up to eleven at times!
Artorian is such a good soul with his grandfather’s spirit. Artorian is probably one of my favorite main characters of any story. He just so good! “A living pillow.”
As I said above, it definitely has the feel of the ending of an “arc” in the story. Getting set up for the next adventure. And it looks like it will be ready to start to lead to connecting with the Completionist Chronicles!
As always, Baldree is the Sage of the Living Voice and keeps breathing life into both our favorites and our less than desirable characters!
On to the next book!
