Mermaid Cirona and Dragon Argun are both head strong, stubborn and proud. When they’re captured they have to work together to get out of tight situations. Problem is, trust doesn’t come close for either of them, and their loyalties and focus couldn’t be more different.
Once they’ve escaped the cages, they need to work together to avoid the black magic that tails them constantly and it wants more than they want to give.
I wouldn’t say there isn’t an HEA, but I wished for a different HEA….maybe in book 2?
Beverley Murray narrates this interesting story or inter-racial species working together allowing you to believe the characters are working in an alliance.
