“A Clockwork Murder: The Night a Twisted Fantasy Became a Demented Reality” is a story about two unlikely friends whose friendship created a dangerous situation for any women in their vicinity. Inspired by the infamous, violent film “A Clockwork Orange,” Woldt and Salmon encouraged a savage desire in each other. Joking became serious and plans for abducting a woman became sincere. Together these two men committed a gruesome crime that I do not believe either one would have committed alone. Together they were capable of murder.

Steve Jackson is a real true crime connoisseur, weaving an intricate and difficult-to-tell tale in a very elegant and satisfying way. Kevin Pierce is easily one of the best narrators on audible! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys true crime – it is a really good one. 10/10
