Jack Olsen was one of the great True Crime authors of our time, combine that with Kevin Pierce’s unequaled narration and you have a book that holds you from start to finish. Such a sad story throughout, full of humanity and such unparralled tragedy. The story tells of the loss of a child and the heartbreak it brought on to the Gere family and yet also deals with their healing and how life eventually comes full circle. Jack Olsen’s tale touched me and I found myself with tears in my eyes a few times. Kevin Pierce has become one of my favorite narrator’s since purchasing Audible and he has never disappointed. His performance, yet again, is delivered with such poise and timing that you never tire hearing him. You will not be disappointed.
