Books 1 & 2 were great, kept me on the edge of my seat and jumped between character stories throughout and played well into the following book.
Book 3 was more linear. Felt like it was building toward epic moments but multiple points of climax were too abrupt and lacked the imagery and descriptive language of the rest of the story.
All-in-all, great story, and I enjoyed the author’s style, but was a little let down toward the ending.
