So… I’m not sure that I expected much out of this book. I had a love/hate relationship with it for the most part. A few times I had to turn it off, just because it is ALOT, and not the easiest subject matter. The pain you feel thru the words, is very intense. A few times I even said, what in the world am I listening to??? But, trust me when I say, this book stays with you, it simmers with you. I’m writing this review months after I read it, and can honestly, confidently say, that I absolutely loved this book. The characters sit with you,haunt you almost, like you know them. Trust me when I say, give this book a try.
