Ooooohhhh….this book was a definite pleasant surprise for me. I listened to the audiobook, which I must say was extremely well done. I went into this book/listen completely blind, and loved every moment from beginning to end. I seriously could not stop listening. It is a bully read with a Gossip Girl type vibe, which totally played out really well in audio. I mean Sarah Puckett seriously rocked her role as Pandora….but I digress. The Golden Boys are essentially triplets, and this book focuses on West, one of the brothers, though all the brothers seem to be running the school. The book is about his relationship, sometimes nice, more times not so much so, with Blue, a girl from the other side of the tracks and a scholarship student, who is doing her best to take care of her sister and raise herself since her parents are seriously lacking in that department. Add in the mean girls, especially Parker who is after West for herself and this book takes you on one wild ride of drama, manipulation and jaw-dropping moments.

This was my first book/listen from these authors and I simply cannot wait to dive in to book two. I need more of Blue and West and the rest of the Golden Boys. I loved every moment of this well-written and intriguing guilty pleasure story.

Neill Thorne, Lessa Lamb and Sarah Puckett all did a fantastic job with the narration. This was my first listen by Neil Thorne but I would definitely listen to more of his work and would recommend him. Lessa Lamb did a wonderful job as Blue and put forth so much emotion in her narration, and Sarah Puckett totally killed it as Pandora. I absolutely loved her Pandora segments. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFLock
