I always know a book is good when I stop reading/listening to it, and I can’t help but think about what might happen next. There are very few books that elicit an emotional reaction from me, and this has done it. The author wonderfully words parts in such a way that I feel angry or betrayed on the behalf of the protagonist. I really hope they continue the series, it’s always nice to see an unconventional protagonist who maintains their character throughout the book. He’s true to himself, and his thought processes are very consistent.
