I read the Tarzan books when I was a teenager and loved them immensely. I am now 70 years old and have just finished listening to the first book in the Tarzan series. It is still as wonderful as I remember it – absolutely fantastic and enthralling.

The story of the little British lord being born in the jungles of Africa, losing his parents, then adopted and reared by a kind ape woman is so fascinating. Listening to the story of how the little lord, named Tarzan, grows and matures into a strong, fearless, deadly, handsome giant of a man is mesmerizing. His falling in love with the American woman named Jane is so touching. This is a great story that everyone should either read or listen to. The narrator of this book was excellent.
