I’ve never written a review before, however, I felt the need to do so well before I finished this book (I’m only on chapter 14). From the dragons that dwell inside of the men (which is talked about doing the exact same things as the Tairen do, which are giant winged cats that breath fire), the Tairen Souls have a Tairen living inside them as well, who claw and growl for their mate. From the way the author explains the pupils turning into slits, then glowing eyes (just like the Tairen Souls) to the way it describes literally everything about it, besides the symbiote (That much is original at least), there are too many extreme similarities for this to be coincidence.

Which brings me to my next point. True mates. The way that bond was explained in the Tairen Soul series has nearly the /exact/ same effects on the men in both stories. Plus the guy (Clay) who wants her, tries to force her to be his…… Same thing happens in the Tairen Soul series.

The story itself isn’t bad, but I believe that the author is walking a fine line with it, and I can’t bring myself to give a good review to a story that takes /way/ too much from one I’ve already listened to a billion times and absolutely love.

Word of advice, the Tairen Soul series is a WAY better read than this. I strongly recommend you check that series out instead of this if you’re looking for an incredible journey. Plus, I know you’ll understand what I’m saying before you even finish the first book in the series. ?
