As a fan of “Tier One Operator” style books, I had high hopes for this. I was disappointed on almost every level.
The characters are not likeable nor developed. The plot wanders like a drunk sailor from point to point with no actual antagonist. The prose is actually quite decent.
The author seems to have spent so much time setting up plots for future books he forgot to actually write this one. Most of the plotlines remain unresolved at the end of the book, which is incredibly frustrating.
Stay away even if you’ve read all the Brads’, Gray Man and Sniper Elite books.
