I’m torn on this book. I really liked Ryun and I really disliked Zach. By about halfway through I just followed other reviewers advice and started skipping the Zach chapters. I found him to be a sanctimonious, unlikeable character (who by the way does not get more likable in the following books). Ryun’s chapters made up for that. These books are really long so even though I skipped chapters I decided the book was well worth the credit. I was interested enough in Ryun’s story that I continued the series. Books 2 and 3 were also worth the credit and I didn’t decide to call it quits until book 4. Book 4 was a disappointment and I won’t buy more from this series or this author (sigh).
