the story was fairly entertaining, but the intermittent pointless misogyny held it back in a few places. I’m not against crude and sexual content, nor lecherous characters… but the sprinkling of misogyny in the first half of the book didn’t seem to enrich the story or fill out any characters.
The book description does warn about it, but I was hoping that it’d be in service to the story.

I’m still going to give the next book a chance, but caution to anyone sensitive to sexual objectification.
