The audio production was simply excellent. The narrator brought many different characters to vibrant life. The audio effects added interesting layers to the experience, without detracting from the story.
The story itself was quick and lively with lots of action. It was hard to put down. The book ends with lots of teasers of future plot lines, suggesting lots of fun intrigue and surprises coming down the road. This was my first experience with LitRPG. I definitely plan to devour eagerly the other books in Carl’s saga.
