2 1/2 stars, actually. I’ll keep it short. Pseudo-Needful Things-ish. I’ve “read” better. It kept my interest for a while, but I REALLY struggled through the middle and up until near the end, where it finally picked up again. I like both the author and the reader and will be venturing to hear from both in future. This story, however, could have been done in 1/3 the time.
