Honestly my expectations are always high, with ANY book from Mark Goodwin, it is my default opinion that it will be great, but it’d be unfair and far too kind to pre-review any product.
This book is absolutely fantastic. He touches on something that all Christians think about, he builds a plot and characters that you can really relate to, he really nailed it. If you’re into post-apocalyptic fiction, this purchase is a no-brainer, but even if you aren’t, and you’re a Christian, you ought to give this a read because often time we all get soft and comfortable in our faith and towards the responsibility of all Christians to abide by the good book and the God’s will. This book may help give you a kick in the rear, some motivation from a not too distant future perhaps. I’m not God, so I don’t know, but I do know that the world is badly off track, and with COVID-19 rearing its ugly head, the end quite literally be uncomfortably nigh..
