Too much background noise! The sheer amount of screaming, buzzing, squelching, etc made it hard to process dialog. Story was better, finally less rape and porn- the plot wiggled along. I actually probably would have enjoyed it if it was less of an audio drama and more of an audio book. The narrators were fine, but I had to keep pausing to see if my phone was making the buzzing noises I was hearing because of “nature” sounds.
Finding out this style of recording continues means I won’t be finishing this series most likely. I had to stop, back up and reread so many times because the background noises, specially during battle with constant screaming and clangs made the dialog hard to understand.
