Not sure why the author feels compelled to add the not-so-subtle satanic references but it was enough for me to stop listening. I guess the guy’s name is Adrian Hell. But when he mentions inverted pentagrams, bathomet, and later in another book lives in Devil’s Spring, I think he’s trying to say or sell something. Not interested. Narration was sort of bland. Character is meh. A hit man with a conscience? Normalizing violence I guess. Again not interested.
