This drove me crazy. There were so many politics that got in the way of the romance. There was no build up. After a lifetime of being in love with each other, there’s no conversation to iron out details. There’s no meeting halfway. BFF’s from birth don’t treat each other the way they did. None of the story was believable to me and was difficult to get through.
