I tried to make it through but gave up in the second book. The characters are very shallow and unbelievable. The dialog is unrealistic—every sentence someone utters starts with the first name of whoever they are addressing no matter how long they’ve been talking. The narrator whistles his S sounds and it hurts my ears to listen, and every sentence the characters say have the same tone. Disappointing overall.
