There’s so many levels, plots and back stories in this series to accurately follow. The ending was just stupid too. After all that, human kind is forced into stupidity? Come on author’s. You could have done way better than that. You could have had a rogue fraction of astros decide to stay on earth and help propel human kind into a new era of knowledge and growth with truly sci-fi levels of technology and including space travel and exploration. That could have span many more years of books but you put humanity back to basic survivalists and farmers… shame
