The performance starts out alright but when the hero gets to a point where the author tries to emphasize how bad the singing is the narrator is not just a tad annoying but I had to skip the chapter all together, I guess he accomplished the goal? The story is a bit common, nothing too original, the final mcguffin fell flat with me, not enough interest built up in the involved parties to really built up much attachment. Things that kept me with this was Kerr and Screenie.
