This is the first book I’ve read by this author. As a fan of the weird, ‘Head Like a Hole’ caught my attention. The clarifying line, ‘A Horror Novel’ closed the deal, so to speak. Even a good title doesn’t always mean a book will live up to an attention-grabbing title or book jacket. In this instance, I could not have been pleased with a book. From the opening pages, author Andrew Van Wey hooked this reader. At no point did I ever feel like I had read a similar tale. In fact, almost every chapter reveals surprises that kept my imagination working over time. I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of this genre. I look forward to reading additional works by this author.
The Audible performance by Tom Jordan is excellent. His talented portrayal of the characters is some of the best I’ve heard.
