As far as LitRPG goes, this is a tolerable story. It’s a bit combat heavy, but the overall story is pretty good, though the characters are somewhat shallow.
This is the book that made me come up with the “Rule of Instinctively”. Writers, if you think it’s cool if your characters do everything on reflex or instinct, it’s not. It’s annoying. Limit yourself to one use of that word per chapter and you’ll be ok. This series is an egregious violator of the Rule of Instinctively.
