I really enjoy the concept of what advanced VR games and worlds will (theoretically) become. Awaken Online does an excellent job of weaving a plausible future scenario where such a world exists and still is able to tell a good story with character progression and maturation.
It hits upon the technology upon the technology needed for advanced VR with being boring, shows the separation between real world and game world well, and creates a deep game world that leaves me wishing that AO actually existed.
I am very much interested in the continuation of the series.
I think I did that without any spoilers. xD
TL;DR? Great read for tech/gaming/fantasy buffs.
