As someone who has listened to this series multiple times I felt like this book was a return to the form that made me fall in love with this series in the first book. Jason being Jason doing amazing Necromancer things and causing chaos in various ways. It also was an wonderful way to introduce the Earth avatar. Words cannot explain how excited I am for the next book. The ending blew my mind and I cannot encourage people more to listen to this book.
