… dropped my rating from a 3 to a 2. She brought new meaning to the use of an old lady in an MC novel. She sounded like an old lady.
The storyline was messy. The setting and references to 9/11 were just weird and to Silky’s reason to disappear for 2 wks around that anniversary.
So much drama resurrected from 15 yrs ago, her parents and other MCs that might be teasers for future series.
I’ll look for other MC series.
