Once the story started I couldn’t put it down! Normally I only listen to books when going on long drives so it will sometimes take me months to complete a book however, I literally listened to this book 7 hours straight. At first I was irritated when it kept referring back to Syria. I would roll my eyes, kick my feet and flail my arms while screaming at my iPad “WHO CARES WHAT HAPPENED IN SYRIA!!!!” But towards the end the Syria insert was needed to explain his feverish need to protect his home annnnnddddd… GENERAL RUTH!!! Omg, who knew!?! My jaw is still hanging from this book.. love love loved it!
