I don’t why people are so hard on this book, it felt much stronger than the fifth and was great to listen to. I think a lot of people are forgetting where the fifth book ended because there was definitely a lot more story progression in here than other reviews are giving credit for. And while there is also a long training arc it introduced a lot of fascinating characters that made it fun to go through.
All in all I wouldn’t put too much stock in the negative reviews, they’re definitely embellishing the 70% training 20% flashback and 10% story.
Definitely closer to 50% story 35% training and 15% flashbacks
