I made it to book 3 before I quit this series. It’s become annoying having to refer to the wiki for this series just to have a basic understanding of the mythology of the worlds. I want to enjoy a story without needing to consult the internet references every other day for help figuring out what the he11 the author is talking about. Fantasy authors need to draw the line on how complex their universes and magic systems are, and provide readers with an early explanation of it all.
