I love Nancy Drew books and I am very glad that they have created Nancy Drew Diaries, a new spin on the original Nancy Drew books. In this one, Nancy, Bess, and George are counselors at a summer camp. Mysterious things are going on… and Nancy will solve the case! Warning: this book is a bit scary so I would think ages eight and up would be reasonable, but it definitely depends on the person listening. The narrator sounds just like how I would imagine Nancy sounding. The Sign in the Smoke is full of mystery, adventure, fun, and lots of excitement! Great book!
