I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the narrator.
When I read the description of this book I was intrigued with it and I requested it. When I started to listen to it I was very entertained for half of the book. The other half, I was pretty annoyed with the main character Cindee Ellis. (Cool name though)
The first part of the story was interesting with the awkward talking to her crush and trying something new to get his attention, even the part where her cousin got a truck stuck in a ditch was interesting, but after that the story got cliche.
Cindee got really annoying and did not even have the courage to say goodbye to her best friend. She whined about everything and barely did anything about it.
But even with that, I liked the book, especially the author’s note at the end.
The narrator gave a lot of interest to the story with how she was able to bring the characters to life, but I’m not really interested in reading the other books.
