The grumpy/sunshine trope is always an immediate “Yes!” from me so I was excited to dive into this audiobook, the first in Adriana Locke’s new Landry Security series. I really enjoyed the performances of CJ Bloom and Connor Brown as Dahlia and Troy. I loved that Dahlia was break down the resistance of rule following bodyguard and co-worker Troy- they were so great together and their attraction and relationship felt so real. Dahlia’s “Best Neighbor” Burt was such a great side character- I really looked forward to his scenes! This was a great start to the new series and I am looking forward to more books about Landry Security.
