I only have a few gripes someone already mentioned it but the soldiers shouldn’t be so inept and while Duram is a turd allistor did deserve to get stabbed and killed system permission or not I’d have shot that little pretentious puke as well and made sure i finished it even if I died you have to remember he “owns” damn near two states worth of land and basically sentenced that man to death just for having a shit attitude and not agreeing with him that makes the Mc the asshole not Duram so while the protagonist needs to seem like he knows what’s going on the Mc actually deserves to die at that point he didn’t really have a moral high ground other than the system put me in charge. so if I killed the Mc and the system gave me his lands as loot does that mean it would then be okay to murder or banish any of his people that disagreed with me having that power now, that’s why I used the word pretentious because he preaches about how precious human life is in the new world and then kills everyone that gets in his way he even antagonizes duram multiple times and then has the balls to say that it’s only Durams fault after the fact, that whole situation wouldn’t have played out that way in fact the soldiers probably would have destroyed allistor and his bear regardless just for killing a brother or sister in arms they wouldn’t just accept it and move on like nothing happened all while kissing the Mc’s ass
