as litrpg’s go this book has it in the right portions, this is book 4 and the characters are not OP, however they are still steadily growing. it spends just enough time talking about stats and skills without the narrator having to read through a spreadsheet which can be tedious. and the information presented is done in an interactive way relative to the character more part of the story.

if you have ever listened to any book read by Jeff hayes, you know the quality of the narration is beyond reproach. he has an amazing range of voices and an awesome ability to give them ALL a life of their own.

now having said all the above, these books are FANTASTIC, Matt Dinniman has an amazing way of slowly presenting just enough details so you can draw your own conclusion without having to spell it out for you.
they are also hilariously wonderful, sometimes subtle sometimes obvious and over the top, but always funny. this book in the series is much heavier at times with some larger and more complex story archs taking place but Matt did it right by pacing it all and mixing in some laughs. I will be listening many times.
