After reading the red rising series by pierce brown, I never thought an author could capture me in the way pierce did again. I was wrong. Franklin Horton creates characters that are realistic, wity, and authentic. The dialogue is phenomenal and the stories are believable to something that could happen in the real world. I will recommend this series to everyone I know. It’s worth mentioning that the narration was perfect too. The slight accent of Kevin Pierce fits perfectly in this story.
