- Is there anything you would change about this book?
- For starters, In the audible title I would mention that this book is part of a series. Neither that or book # is mentioned in the book’s listing. Which is kinda misleading, imo. Even though the story itself is standalone, new listeners suffer because the book doesn’t spend time on the main character introduction or character development. We are thrown right into the mix of things, without any background of the character. I felt lost at times.
- What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
- Most interesting aspect is already on the cover – the runestone. Historians debate to this age who was the first to reach the Americas and this book exploits that intrigue.
The neo-nazi angle was the least interesting part. Looked like they were in the book just to play the “typical villains”. I really didn’t care about their actions or villainy.
- Any additional comments?
- I received this book for free from the author / narrator / publisher, in exchange for an unbiased review.
