This is a polemic, not a work of literature or art or storytelling. The author has done a lot of excellent research and evidently wants to present his ideas on how to solve the climate crisis … and he has draped them in the thinnest veneer of a “story.” I couldn’t finish it though I did skip ahead a number of times to see how it came out. But it’s extremely dissatisfying if you’re looking for a novel.
