Despite Mr. 2 Star and his lengthy review this is not a Ready Player One copy. And his comparison of the stacks to the boxes is like comparing a run down trailer park with no oversight to government built tenement buildings. He does make some good points in that the book could be more crunchy and it could be longer with more info on how Pangea works etc. BUT… This book is awesome! This book, and hopefully series, should be in every LitRPG Fan’s library. I rank it up there with stuff by Johnathan Brooks, Dakota Krout and Michael Chatfield. If it was a bigger book with more crunch it would almost be on Dr. Kong’s level. I think what some of the not so great reviews are actually wanting is just more. Some of the foley choices actually took me out of the story rather than enhanced it but for the most part it was good. I know at the end of this book I couldn’t wait for more and had to get book 2. Rowland and the narration team did a wonderful job. Definitely 5 stars all around!
