as an audiobook its a bit hard to follow because of the multiple narrators, i got the hang of it 2/3rds through and definitely zoned out on some parts. regardless the concepts and storytelling are impressive and i found myself having a lot of conversations about the book irl. it is truly thought provoking. different from an immersive soap opera but the characters are nonetheless compelling and the lack of romance or mystery is especially interesting because the interstices of that are all there it just isn’t what’s focused on. impressive and unusual book.
