Everything is handed to the main characters on a silver plate. There’s no true nemesis and the combat is laughable. The only time anyone dies is for a joke about bunny rabbits that is a blatant Monty Python ripoff! There is a pvp guild that somehow despite having years of game time can’t figure out how to kill a noob 80 or so levels below them.. not even that actually they never even injure the party and are just there to demonstrate how strong and wise the guild they face is. Also every kingdom they meet treats them like family from the start and everyone in power is a thoughtful powerhouse with magnanimous intentions. If it wasn’t an audiobook that I wasted good money on but instead was a book that I would have to actively read I never would have finished it. I feel robbed of the hours I spent listening.
