Excellent narration and an excellent story to boot. From my past experiences with litrpg’s, they all either focus mostly on the goings-on within the game itself. This book was different. It has a balanced combination of the real world and Pangea and neither world was lacking. They both felt fleshed out to me. Each character had some weight to them and weren’t simply archetypes of the standard “good guys” and “bad guy.”

The narration was top notch as well. The characters were voiced with enough distinctions that they didn’t blend and enough emotion was shown to put weight on the situations within the book. Justin and Laurie were a treat to listen to. Unexpectedly, there was some audio editing to paint some scenes better audibly. An example would be where an announcement was being made, some reverberation was added as it would be in the real world.

I definitely look forward to listening to the next book in the series.
