I’m only 3 minutes in and I cannot stand the weird voice and audio effects. background music is something that I can muscle through if I really want to but on top of that the weird echoey voices create a jarring transition from narrator to main character to side character voices. it is just very distracting at best, and upsetting at worst. Authors, don’t let whoever did this to this book anywhere near your work. and if it was the author that pushed for these things and I’m blaming the sound engineers then I apologize. the only good thing I can say about this book is if you are into radio dramas this might be something for you.
