I had tried the first episode in Haley Walsh’s Skyler Foxe Mysteries and it didn’t really grab me. Thankfully a GR friend suggested I continue, and I’m so glad I did! Thank you Janeylou.
I think Skyler’s character is a bit dated, so that threw me a bit. I see now that Walsh has left room for this guy to grow, and over the arc of the series I can imagine there is quite a bit of space for him to evolve into a more mature man.
There’s a fun little mystery as well, and a pretty brutal cliffhanger.
