First: The story was good enough to keep me going through the many hours. Kevin Pierce is one of my favorite narrators. Second: And this is why I gave it only 4 stars. There were too many scenes that seemed to just drag on and on and on. More than once did I think”Okay, time to move on to the next book on my list”. But then, I would just get wrapped up in the story again. And so so many people and story lines. I warn you, if you read book one and wait before you listen to 2 and 3. Be prepared to try and remember who is who and where is there. Third and final Do listen to it. And listen to me McDermotts epilogue and comments. I’m going to do some research on solar flares.
