The poor production was annoying. The cuts and edits were anything but seamless. It sounded like several different mics were used in several different rooms.
I’ve listened to hundreds of audiobooks and never heard volume and sound quality changes or breathing. There were two places there twenty seconds was repeated.
As for the narration. It was fine.
As for the writing. I like having my vocabulary stretched, but words like ensorcelled sound like the narrator is saying encircled incorrectly.
