This story has gotten so complicated that there are whole sections where I’m not entirely sure that I know what’s going on. Often times a character will die or will reappear in the story and I feel like I’m missing out on their importance because I can’t remember who that character is.
This particular story started out with a focus on the hunters, and I assumed that that’s where we would spend most of our time as readers/listeners. But really, the hunters ended up as a minor storyline, and were not really relevant.
it’s hard to be too critical, because the writing and the two main characters are so good and so much fun to listen to. But it’s hard not to think that as this story continues, I’m only going to continue to get more and more lost. And that may ultimately take the fun out of it.
