This book was really cute. Like sometimes too much over the top sweet. We get all the small town quirks. And adorable characters and absolutely zero angst with a smidge of drama to give the story that little extra it needs to keep you from a sugar overdose.

Insta-Love… The book happens over the course of a few days / week which doesn’t really bother me.. I mean when you know.. You know. Right?!? And then whether it works out in the long run is a completely different subject after the lust of the new relationship wears off. Joel and Andrew were super hot together and I was impressed with the Authors writing and the storyline they gave us for this book. I appreciated Andrew’s bone deep love for the town he was raised in, that was awesome to see in this book. I loved his determination to stay and live and hope to grow a family in the same town, the way he was raised. I’m going to be watching where this series is headed. It was everything I needed for a lighter fun filled angst free Listen(read) with an interesting cast of characters so I am hoping the rest of the series will follow that path.

Audio – Kirt Graves did a good job, his narration and pacing and tone was all perfect for this book. There were a few times I did get a little lost figuring out who was talking and having to rewind a bit, but I’m chalking that down to me being distracted at the time, and not the book/narration. I’ve already gotten the next few audiobooks in the series and will be getting to those soon.
