Character development and world building aspect of the story well established. Intriguing prologue, hint of mystery dredged unfolding plot twists, Angst and romance swirling through the pages of these mates between an immortal vampire and a female human. This ends with a hea epilogue, unanswered questions leading to the next couple in the series.
Narrator Lucinda Gainey’s smooth tone and pace creates an easy listen. Her inflection changes with the characters giving individual characters a voice.
