I didn’t NOT like the story .. but I didn’t necessarily like it a lot either. It must be because I haven’t read the authors previous series. I felt like there was something I was missing because I couldn’t understand why I was getting so much information about ancillary characters and it made it difficult to concentrate on the current story.
Plus the “big secret” -and I couldn’t see why it was such a big deal even though the author KEPT harping on it.
